Now Hiring Home Health Aides

Hospice has 8 Home Health Aide openings!
HHA Certification is preferred; however CNA Certification acceptable with willingness to complete additional training.  Hospice will hold a Home Health Training class in August.  DEADLINE FOR ALL RESUMES WILL BE AUGUST 10th.  Hospice of Orleans, PO box 489, Albion, NY  14411.

Hospice of Orleans would like to extend our warmest thanks to our Hospice volunteers, the JP Morgan Chase employees that volunteered their time, and also to our Golf Committee and basket wrappers.  On the day of the tournament we had 45 volunteers put in over 230 hours! Thanks to your hard work and dedication the event was a great success.

Visit the Hospice at Pine Hill Airport Breakfast

The Pine Hill Airport is having a pancake breakfast from 7am-12pm on Sunday, June 3rd.  They will be serving pancakes, eggs, sausage, apple sauce, coffee, apple juice.  West Barre Church will have a bake sale starting at 9am.  Inside seating so come rain or shine!  Weather permitting there will be aircraft rides, radio controlled aircraft demos and aircraft flying in to Pine Hill for event!

ROC The Day 2012

Since we had such a successful 2011 ROC the day, Hospice will be participating in this amazing event again this year on 12/12/12.  For those of you who are not familiar with ROC the Day, it is a 24-hour, online event that provides you an opportunity to support not-for-profit organizations doing great work in the nine-county Greater Rochester area. Just go to ROCtheDay.org, a secure online giving platform, to contribute to any participating not-for-profit organizations. All money given on December 12 will help local people and organizations.
You can really ROC the Day (and our world) by giving to one or multiple organizations that support your own personal philanthropic passions—it’s an easy, one-stop way to fill your “cart” with causes that matter most to you.
